CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Once you have obtained your N2 or N3 National certificate you will be qualified to work as an artisan in the Mechanical industry. This will equip you to work at any organization within the industry that requires an artisan with your qualifications. You will be able to work towards promotion within your career by working within your field of study and gaining experience within the industry.

After 18 months of work within your field of study you can apply for a trade test.

Job Chances: After qualifying as artisan , you can work directly on construction, Automotive sites or different projects.

You can search for different job portals and employment newspapers for the latest job vacancies.

Self employment: After qualifying as artisan in Mechanical engineering you can also become a job provider by becoming entrepreneurs and can start your own Automotive or Welding company. And you can also register yourself as a contractor with various public sector undertakings.

EXAMINATION

At the end of each trimester or semester NATIONAL EXAMINATION will be conducted by the department of Higher education and training
